James Renaldo Ball, 72, of Paragould, died Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at his residence. He was born December 19, 1940 in East Chicago, IN to Walter and Pauline Southred Ball. On March 17, 1961 he married Laura Stringer in Gary, IN. He was a diesel mechanic, truck driver, and Tea Party member.


Preceding him in death were his parents; son, Ronnie James Ball; brothers, Rayford, Buddy, and Phillip Ball; sister, Sonia Marsh.

Survivors include his wife, Laura of the home; sons, James Stringer and James, Willie, and Eric Ball; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be at 11 am on Friday, August 23, 2013 at Old Military Cemetery in Sedgwick under the direction of Cox-Fears Funeral Home of Walnut Ridge with James Ball officiating.
