James Calvin "Duke" Davis, 71, of Walnut Ridge passed from this life on Sunday, May 12, 2024, at Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro. He was born June 7, 1952, in Paragould to the late Elmer and Mae (Henry) Davis. Duke was a farmer during his lifetime.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, lottery scratch offs, cooking, and spending time with family, neighbors, and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Vernon Davis, Junior Davis, Boyd Davis, and Kathleen Willfond.

He is survived by his loving wife, Karen Davis of 39 years of the home; children, Karen Fulgham (Alan) of Conway, Tammy Glenn (James) and Vinson Davis (Stephanie) both of Powhatan; sisters, Linda Mooney of Imboden, Maxine Riley (Hiwatha) of Arbor Grove, Kathyrn Galbreath and Lois Pickney both of Walnut Ridge; grandchildren, Adrienne, Kristen, Taylor, Nika, and Hunter; great-grandchildren, Kadence, Kamdyn, Maverick, Lincoln, Easton, Harper, and Memphis; and a host of family members and friends.
