James Lee Green, 64, of Walnut Ridge died Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at his home in Walnut Ridge.  He was born on April 22, 1954 in Walnut Ridge.  He was retired from the Arkansas State Highway Department and was of the Baptist belief.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Grady Green and Bessie Knowlton Green; brother, William Green; and grandson, Cody Crow.

He is survived by his wife, Felice Green of Walnut Ridge; daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Kenny Crow of Pocahontas; sons and daughters-in-law Robert and Sheila Green of Des-Arc, Missouri and William and Nicole Green of Summerville, South Carolina; four sisters, Marsha Baker of Covington, Tennessee, Karen Gosha of Blytheville, Barbara Harris and husband Jim Harris and Patricia Simington both of Pocahontas; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Friday, February 22, 2019 from 6 until 8 p.m. at Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge. The funeral will be Saturday, February 23, 2019, 10 a.m. at Cox Funeral Home.  Reverend Laura Browers and Reverend Roger Browers will officiate.  Interment will follow in Lawrence Memorial Park under the direction of Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge. In lieu of flowers, family requests that all memorials be made to Cox Funeral Home.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Kordell Crow, Eric Tate, Hunter Burris, Jeremy Simington, Jimmy Harris, Wyatt Browne, and Dustin Woods.

Honorary pallbearers are Mark Tate, Allen Willfond, Ike Debow, and Lacey Hodge.
