James "Jimmy" Jones, 57, of Walnut Ridge passed away Sunday, August 19, 2018 at his residence. He was born March 18, 1961 to James Relton and Jannette Wilson Jones in Walnut Ridge. He was engaged in farming and employed at Peco. He was of the Baptist belief.

Preceding him in death were his father, Relton Jones; paternal grandparents, Amos and Arvena Jones; maternal grandparents, J.C. and Dolly Wilson; sister-in-law Tammy Jones; and a nephew, Aidyn Aaron.

He is survived by his mother and step-father, Jannette Jones Fogle and Tom Fogle of Pocahontas; a son, Jay Jones of Jonesboro; daughter, Maddie Jones-Bowles of the home; brother, Timmy Jones of Walnut Ridge; sisters, Janice Wheeler (Gary) of Monette, Joann Walden (Tommy) of Paragould; step brother, Aaron Fogle (Brooke) of Little Rock; step-sister, Kristie Grant (Tim) of Witchita, KS; one grandson, Miles Bowles; nieces, Cassie (Ross) Lawson, Kali Aaron, Emma (Jacob) Houston, Amelia (Tanner) Hill, Krystin Walden, Grace and Valerie Williams, and Holland Fogle; nephews, Alex Jones, Shane Barnes, Justin (Rachel) Barnes; and many great nieces and nephews.
