James "Jim" Robertson, 81, of Black Rock passed away Saturday, November 25, 2017 at his residence. He was born October 28, 1936 in Black Rock to Vernon and Loreta Fleming Robertson. He married Christine Hanson on October 17, 1981 in Arvada, Colorado. He was a retired army veteran, serving twice in the war zone of Vietnam and was of the Christian faith.

Preceding him in death were his parents; and son, James Vernon, Jr.

He is survived by his wife, Christine of the home; sons, James Michael (Erin) Robertson of San Antonio, Texas, Vernon Mitchell Robertson of Denver, Colorado; brothers, Ray (Tommie Jean) Robertson of Black Rock and Bill Robertson of Holland, Michigan; sisters, Linda Robertson and Kathy Robertson, both of Black Rock; grandchildren, Connor, Michael, Lindsay, Poetry and Paisley.
