Jonesboro- Janet Sue Marlin, 76, of Jonesboro, formerly of Walnut Ridge, passed from this life on Friday, December 18, 2020 at Flo and Phil Hospice House in Jonesboro.  She was born May 12, 1944 in Kansas City, Kansas to Frank and Lola Seldomridge.  She was a Certified Nursing Assistant at Lawrence Hall Nursing Center for 29 years.  Janet was of the Baptist belief.

In addition to her parents, Janet was preceded in death by her husband of 32 years, Rev. Terry Marlin, Sr.; and several brothers and sisters.

She is survived by one daughter, Angie Cahoon (Clay) of Jonesboro; son, T.J. Marlin (Gretchen) of Jonesboro; three step-daughters, Theresa Moreno of Jonesboro, Cheri Stuart (Mitchell) of Batesville, and Julie Witke of Tampa, Florida; twelve grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Monday, December 21, 2020 at Cox Funeral Home from 1 until 2 p.m.  Graveside services will follow at 2:30 p.m. in Lawrence Memorial Park in Walnut Ridge.  Coty Powers will officiate.  All arrangements are under the direction of Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Tyke Taylor, Baron Cahoon, Nathan Moreno, Clay Cahoon, Will Marlin, and Coty Powers.
