Jerry W. Ray, 81, of Pocahontas passed from this life on Wednesday, July 12, 2023, at Regional One Medical Center in Memphis, Tennessee. He was born January 28, 1942 in Delaplaine to the late Goah C. and Ruby (Williams) Ray.  He was of the Pentecostal belief.  Jerry loved antiques of all kinds.

In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by his brothers, Cecil Ray, Goah Ray, Jr., Ron Ray, Don Ray, and Larry Ray; sisters, Ocia Ray, Ethel Larson, Jean Brine, and Bonnie Hardesty.

Jerry is survived by brothers, Lowell Ray and Robert Ray; sister, Wanda Ray, and a host of other family members to mourn his loss.

Funeral services will be Saturday, July 15, 2023, at 11 a.m. at the First Pentecostal Church in Pocahontas. Jerry Cochran will officiate. Interment will follow in Masonic Cemetery in Pocahontas under the direction of Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.
