Jewel Dean Cathcart, 94, of Walnut Ridge, died March 5, 2014, at Walnut Ridge Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born August 19, 1919 in Springdale to Earl Edgar and Bertha R Graham White. On May 27, 1949 she married Robert T. Cathcart, Sr. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Walnut Ridge for more than 65 years; was a manager at Western Union in Walnut Ridge for ten (10) years; was a member of United Methodist Women, and a member of Elk's BPO Lodge# 498.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Robert; sons, Robert T "Bobby" Cathcart, Jr. and John Cathcart; sister, Rosie Lee Graham.

Survivors include her grandson, Brian Keith Nelson of Springdale.

Visitation will be Tuesday, March 11th from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the Cox-Fears Chapel in Walnut Ridge. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, March 12th at 10:30 am at the Cox-Fears Chapel in Walnut Ridge with Jeanne Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Lawrence Memorial Park in Walnut Ridge.
