Powhatan-Jim Mosier,75, passed away Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at his residence surrounded by his family. He was born on May 14, 1943 to Elzie and Clara Marie Roach Mosier at Walnut Ridge. He married Glenna Snow on November 12, 1976 in Hoxie.  He attended Elnora Free Will Baptist Church.  Jim was retired from Bell South and a member of the Pioneers.

Preceding him in death were his parents; and a brother, Bob Mosier.

Survivors include his wife, Glenna Snow Mosier of the home; sons, Mark Mosier (Letitia) of Bono, Chris Mosier of Carrier Mills, IL, Kerry Mosier Drew of Carterville, Illinois; daughter, Malessie Lamb (Adam) of Walnut Ridge; brother Terry Mosier (Carolyn) of Heber Springs; sister, Joyce Sullins (Jerry) of Bono; grandchildren, Harry Mosier, Ava Mosier, and Sylis Lamb.

Visitation will be Saturday, October 13, 2018 from 5 until 8 p.m. at Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.  The funeral will be Sunday, October 14, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge with Jerrell Dean and Gene Cullum officiating.  Interment will be in Snow Cemetery near Pocahontas under the direction of Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Mark Mosier, Harry Mosier, James Taylor, Brent Sullins, Tom Richardson, Chris Richardson, Jimmy Fowler, and Chris Hankins.

Honorary pallbearers are Rodney Floyd, Garland Gilmore, Justin West, Jerry Dawson, Bob Anderson, and Randy Jumper.
