Jimmy Lee Midgett, 77, passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at St. Bernard's Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro.   He was born on August 23, 1941 to George and Thelma Walker Midgett in Okean.  Jimmy worked at various jobs during his life and loved reading, painting and collecting.

Preceding him in death were his parents and two sisters, Carol Finley and Mary Williams.

Survivors include a daughter, Jennifer Coker (Jon) of Walnut Ridge; two sons, David Midgett of Walnut Ridge and Charles Rawlings of Holt, Missouri; grandchildren, Danielle Denham, William Midgett, Amanda Miller and James Rawlings and two great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Friday, April 19, 2019 from 12 p.m. until 1 p.m. at Cox Funeral Home Chapel in Walnut Ridge with funeral following at 1 p.m.  Interment will be in Lawrence Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Walnut Ridge.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are David Midgett, Charles Rawlings, Danny Walker, Rob Finley, Matthew Flock, and Dylan Maxie.

Honorary Pallbearers are Mark Walker, Scotty Walker and Danny Maxie.
