John Cameron Starr, age 83, passed away in Arizona. He was born in Hoxie to John C. and Alma Erwin Starr. He attended the University of Arizona and served in the U.S. Army.

Survivors include: son, John Cameron Miller (Kathryn); grandsons, Grider William and Moses Winston Miller; sister, Jill Sotelo; and several nieces and nephews.

There will be a private graveside service Thursday, September 10, 2015 at Lawrence Memorial Park with Glenn Smith officiating. Service will be under the direction of Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.
