John Brady Stuart, 80, of Memphis, Tennessee passed from this life on Thursday, September 16, 2021, at his residence. He was born September 23, 1940, in Jonesboro to the late William Bates and Nama Avis Moore Stuart. John resided in Ravenden, Arkansas until he was twelve years old, before moving to Memphis. He was a self-employed real estate broker in Memphis for fifty years and was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Memphis.

John was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his brother, Robert Walker Stuart of Memphis, his children, John William Stuart, James Wesley Stuart, and Robert Thomas Stuart all of Memphis, grandchildren, Christopher Stuart and Amber Stuart.

Visitation will be Wednesday, September 22, 2021, from 1 until 2 p.m. at Black Rock United Methodist Church. Funeral service will follow immediately at 2 p.m. Rev. Sara Corum, John Stoll, and Danny Roark will officiate. Interment will follow in Oak Forest Cemetery in Black Rock under the direction of Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.
