Johnye Mae Sharp, 80, died Thursday, July 19, 2012 at Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Walnut Ridge. She was born April 6, 1932 in Ravenden to John and Lillie Preston Clary. In 1949 she married Leo Sharp. She was a member of Friendship Methodist Church in Ravenden. She was a housewife and a very good mother to her children who loved her very much and will always miss her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; sister, Ruby Clary Wells; brother-in-law, Clay Wells.
Survivors include her six sons, Gary, Ronny, Glen, Harold, Howard, and Kent Sharp all of Ravenden.
Visitation will be Monday, July 23 at 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the Cox Funeral Home Chapel in Walnut Ridge. Funeral services will be immediately after visitation with John Stoll officiating. Burial to follow in Friendship Cemetery in Ravenden.
