Joseph "Joe" Franklin Latham, 80, of Imboden passed away Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Walnut Ridge. He was born March 10, 1938 in Pocahontas to Herman and Gladys Teel Latham. He married Janet King on July 25, 1963, in Sedgwick. Joe was retired and a cattle rancher and a deacon at Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Annieville.

Preceding him in death were his parents, brothers, Andy Latham and Paul Latham; sisters, Debbie Latham and Helen Latham; and three infant siblings.

He is survived by his wife, of fifty-five years, Janet (King) Latham of the home; a daughter, Jerion Pillow (Scott) of Paragould; brothers, Alex Latham (Lynda) of Portia, Mac Latham (Judy) of Beech Grove; a sister, Peggy Reeves (Bill) of Jonesboro; grandchildren, Sarah Henson and her fiancé, Charlie Cox, Anna Henson, Maggie Henson, and Joseph Pillow.

Visitation will be Tuesday, January 8, 2019, from 1 until 2 p.m. at Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Annieville. The funeral will follow at 2 p.m. with Jerry Clements officiating. Burial will follow in Clearview Cemetery near Pocahontas under the direction of Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Randy Holder's Sunday School Class.

Honorary pallbearers are Eldon Simmons and Gary Simmons.
