Walnut Ridge – Juanita Madge Trantham, 91 of Walnut Ridge passed away Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at Lawrence Hall Nursing Center in Walnut Ridge. She was born on April 3, 1924 to James Rufus and Ruby Howard Land. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church in Piggott.

Preceding her in death were her parents and brothers, James Land, Kline Land, and Clifford Land.

Survivors include: sons, Rodney Trantham of Batesville and David Trantham of Walnut Ridge; daughters, Terry Parker of Blytheville, Susan Gibson of Little Rock, and Kathy Parker of Batesville; three grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.

Funeral will be Saturday, February 20, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Cox Funeral Home Chapel in Walnut Ridge with Reverend Kenny Worthington and Dr.Keith Hearnsberger officiating. Burial will follow at Lawrence Memorial Park under the direction of Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Brooks Howard, Dennis Land, Jack Land, Zachary Stokes, Holden Tarno, and Kelly Waddell.
