Karen LaVaughn Gross, 53, of Dallas, GA, formerly of Little Rock, AR and Nashville, TN, died March 23rd at Paulding Hospital in Dallas, GA. She was born December 6, 1960 in Little Rock to Cecil Leslie and LaVerne Vaughn Benton. She was a teacher at Mt. Paran Christian School and a member of West Ridge Church in Hiram, GA.

Survivors include her parents, Cecil and LaVerne of Jacksonville; daughter, Lauren Gross of Cleveland, TN; and sister, Cecilia Benton of Nashville, TN.

Visitation will be Friday, March 28th from 10 to 11am at the Cherokee Baptist Church in Cherokee Village. Funeral services will immediately follow visitation at the church under the direction of Cox-Fears Funeral Home of Walnut Ridge with Larry White officiating. Burial will follow in Hersperger Cemetery in Cherokee Village.

Pallbearers will be Steve Vaughn, Royce McClure, Leonard Smith, Bristol May, Cecilia Benton, and Lauren Gross.

There will be a celebration of Karen's life at Mount Paran Christian School in Kennesaw, GA.
