Karen Sue McEntire, 76, of Southaven, Mississippi passed from this life on Monday, January 13, 2025, at Merit Health in Biloxi, Mississippi. She was born February 16, 1948, in Tulsa, Oklahoma to T.L. and June (Dees) May. She was united in marriage to Butch McEntire on January 26, 1968, in Pocahontas. Karen started her career as a secretary at Williams Baptist College, followed by being employed as an office manager for Memphis Lamp, and became comptroller for the Clinic of Plastic surgery in Memphis where she retired after twenty-five years. She was a member of the Southaven Church of Christ, the Holiday Ramblers club, and was an avid Arkansas Razorbacks fan.

Karen was preceded in death by her father, T.L. May; and sister, Patti May.

She is survived by her husband, Butch of the home; mother, June Turner of Jonesboro; son, Jeremy McEntire (Betsy) of Arlington, Tennesee; brother, James May of Jonesboro; grandchildren, Beckett McEntire, Chase McEntire, Macon McEntire, Hadley McEntire, Warner Tino, and Sutton Tino; and a host of other family members.

Visitation will be Saturday, January 18, 2025, from 12 p.m. until 1 p.m. at Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge with funeral services immediately following at 1 p.m. Billy Sasser will officiate. Interment will follow in Lawrence Memorial Park under the direction of Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Beckett McEntire, Chase McEntire, Macon McEntire, Warner Tino, Mark McEntire, and Kevin Heath.
