Kathryn McCrackin, 91, of Pocahontas, entered into her heavenly home on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at the Greenhouse Cottages of Belle Meade in Paragould. She was born on June 3, 1934, in Nelsonville to the late Samuel and Amelia (Swanner) Seat. She was united in marriage to Raymond McCrackin on December 27, 1950. Kathryn was a homemaker and was a dedicated member of the Westside church of Christ in Pocahontas. She enjoyed working in her yard, crafting, and fishing. Kathryn treasured her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Kathryn was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond McCrackin, of 47 years; and her brothers, James Seat, Ernest Seat, Oliver Seat, and Homer Seat.

She is survived by her daughters, Rebecca Land (George) of Pocahontas and Sharon Gilliland (Donnie) of Jonesboro; her siblings, Dorothy Gray of Ash Flat, Betty Meuller of Texas, and Kenneth Seat (Linda) of Nelsonville; grandchildren, Steven Land (Skie), Michael Land (Monica), Randy Land (Audra); great-grandchildren, Isaac Land, Isaiah Land, Bella Land, Chase Land, Christopher Land, John Land, Isaac Benites (Crystal), Sarah Land, and Madison Land; and several nieces, nephews, and a host of other family members and friends.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, September 5, 2025, at 10 a.m. in the Masonic Cemetery in Pocahontas, with Josh Dement officiating. All arrangements are under the direction of Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Steven Land, Michael Land, Randy Land, Isaiah Land, Christopher Land, and Isaac Benites.

Honorary pallbearers are Donnie Walton and Jim Toney.
