Kathryn Louise Mulkey, 73, of Jonesboro, passed from this life on Sunday, February 8, 2026, at her residence. She was born on December 27, 1952, in Walnut Ridge, to the late Harvey and Rethia (Hand) Bristol. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Mulkey, and her daughter, Tanya White.

Kathryn was a machine operator at Waterloo in Pocahontas for several years. She attended the Refuge Church in Jonesboro. In her spare time, she enjoyed canning, sewing, and tending to her yard and garden.

She is survived by her daughters, Tracy Nelson (Phillip) and Jill Lynxwiler, both of Jonesboro; siblings, Carolyn Bristol of Florida, Charles Bristol of Missouri, Sherry Hoskins of Bono, and Shelia Snow (Tim) of Jonesboro; grandchildren, Hunter Nelson (Lauren), Tylan Lynxwiler, Brandon Nelson, Cierra Joubert (Will), Raiden Nelson, Laynee Nelson, and Jordan Lynxwiler; great-grandchildren, Tessalynn Lynxwiler, Kason Lynxwiler, Addison Lynxwiler, Magnolia Nelson, and Lily Nelson.

Visitation will be on Friday, February 13, 2026, from 10 A.M. to 11 A.M. in Cox Funeral Home Chapel in Walnut Ridge, with funeral services following immediately at 11 A.M. Fred Legrand will officiate. Interment will follow in the Lawrence Memorial Park Cemetery in Walnut Ridge under the direction of Cox Funeral Home.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Ryan Kimbrough, Alex Lacey, Tylan Lynxwiler, Hunter Nelson, Eric Clearwater, and Collin Speak.
