Kathy Sue Mize Rainwater, 66, of Lynn passed away January 11, 2019 at her residence. She was born December 11, 1952 to Calvin Eugene and Barbara Jean Bristow Mize in Cairo, IL. She was an artist and teacher at Newark School. She was of the Church of Christ belief.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Theresa Mize Asberry.

She is survived by her husband, Gary "Duck" Rainwater of Lynn; daughters, Melissa Durham (Eddie) of Strawberry and Michelle Evans (Randy) of Lynn; grandchildren, Dustin Durham (Breanna), Hunter Durham (Felicia), Tamara Harris (Cody), Colman Evans (Jessica); great-grandchildren, Easton, Sasha, Bailey, Zane, Newt, Owen, Kree, Graham, Everlee, Cole.

Visitation will be Thursday, January 17, 2019 from 11:30-1:30 at the Lynn Church of Christ. A graveside service will follow at 2 p.m. in Old Lebanon Cemetery near Lynn. Pallbearers will be her grandsons and sons-in-law. All arrangements are under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Walnut Ridge.
