Walnut Ridge – Kathryn Mae Dobbs, 72 of Walnut Ridge, died Thursday, May 12, 2016 at her home. She was born on October 27, 1943 in Akron, Ohio to James and Rosie Martin Patton. She was of the Baptist belief and a bookkeeper for many years.

Preceding her in death were her parents; son, Rodney Dobbs; and brother, Gerald Patton.

She is survived by daughters, Shelia Britton (Blake) Melanie Davis (Rodney), and Joyce Dobbs (Jeff Williams) all of Walnut Ridge; sisters, Jeannie Dye of Florida and Joyce Lancaster (Jack) of Ohio; grandchildren, Wesley Davis of Fayetteville, Amber Broadway (Chad) of Walnut Ridge, Brandy Summers (Brian) of Southhaven, Mississippi; Lacey Ragsdale (Justin) of Black Rock, Brittany Smith (Luke) of Smithville, Raven Dobbs of Walnut Ridge; great grandchildren, Karlee Britton, Macy Rose Broadway, Jayden Richardson, Darcy Mae Ragsdale, and Tinsley Smith.

Visitation will be Saturday, May 14, 2016 from 6-8 pm at Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge. Funeral will be Sunday, May 15, 2016 at 2 pm in Cox Funeral Home Chapel with Charles Hendrix officiating. Burial will follow at Manning 1 Cemetery near Sedgwick with funeral arrangements under the direction of Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.
