Leota Warner, 90, of Walnut Ridge passed from this life on March 7, 2024 at Lawrence Hall Nursing Center in Walnut Ridge. She was born November 23, 1933 to the late Lehman Jones and Opal Marshall. She was an avid gardener and owner of The Green Lantern in Hoxie for many years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Michael Wayne Hill; brother, Leo Jones; sisters, Wanda McEntire, and Shirley Cates.

She is survived by two daughters, Rosemary (Donald) Brunson of Walnut Ridge, Roxanne Wooten of Hoxie; a brother, Homer Jones of Walnut Ridge; a sister Linda (Steve) Jackson of Oklahoma; 4 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren, and many other nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation will be Wednesday, March 13, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge with services immediately following at 1:00 p.m. with John Durham and Blake Jamison officiating. Interment will follow in Lawrence Memorial Park in Walnut Ridge under the direction of Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.

Honored to serve as pallbearers will be Derrick McEntire, Zack Brunson, Creadon Brunson, Jeremy McLaughlin, Jeremy Chance McLaughlin, and Jesse Gage McLaughlin.

Honorary pallbearer is Kenny Hildabran.
