Lillie Mae King, 83, of Pocahontas, died Monday, October 13, 2014 at Pocahontas Nursing and Rehab in Pocahontas. She was born July 1, 1931 in Imboden to Wiley and Jeanette Toy Hackworth. She was a waitress and a member of Columbia Jarrett Baptist Church in Maynard.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Joseph Arthur King; brother, Vester Hackworth; and sister, Mildred Pickenpough.

Survivors include her sons, Howard Lamoyne Franklin of Russeville, MO and Austin Leroy Franklin of CA; daughter, Audrey Hodges of Jefferson City, MO; brothers, Jake Hackworth of Woodstock, IL, Mack Hackworth of Pocahontas, Truman Hackworth of Fayetteville, Wiley Hackworth of Hughesville, MO; sisters, Jenny Barker of North Little Rock, Linda Campi of Seminole, FL, Geraldean Dunham of DeKalb, IL, and Jane Gruchacz of Live Oaks, FL.

Graveside funeral services will be Thursday, October 16th, at 10:00am in the Masonic Cemetery in Pocahontas under the direction of Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge, with Bill Good officiating. No visitation is planned.
