Linda Jane Friar, 79, of Walnut Ridge passed from this life on Tuesday, September 14, 2021, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro.  She was born September 21, 1941, in Beech Grove to Sevier and Gladys Friar.  She was a homemaker and was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Walnut Ridge.

She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, Thomas Friar, Willis Friar, Billy Joe Friar, Christine Friar, Hazel German, and Charlene Strong.

She is survived by her sister, Vella Fedyk of Hoxie, and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Friday, September 17, 2021, at 10 a.m. in Lawrence Memorial Park.  Dale Hughart will officiate.  All arrangements are under the direction of Cox Funeral Home.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Trevor Dotson, Reece Dotson, Lance Langley, and Gage Langley.
