Linda Neomia Johnson, 76, of Pocahontas, passed from this life on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at her residence. She was born on January 15, 1949, in Walnut Ridge to the late Cecil James and Ida Opal (Tracer) Phillips. She was united in marriage to Leo Russell Johnson, Jr. on December 8, 1972, in Las Vegas, Nevada.  She was employed at Magee Factory in Pocahontas during her lifetime and also served as an election poll worker in Randolph County for many years. Linda was of the Christian faith and was a devoted grandmother.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Leo; her brother, James Phillips; and her great-granddaughter, Sophia.

She is survived by her children, Russell Johnson (Erika), Jamie Johnson, and Tracy Ward (Gregory), all of Pocahontas; her sister, Brenda Hylton of California; grandchildren, Tim, Elizabeth, Jamie, Christian, Alexandra, Destiny, and Madalyn; great-grandchildren, Rachel, Niko, Gregory, Lyla, Brycen, Charlie, Lexie, and Scarllett, Leighanna, Samantha, and Lucy; her cherished pet companion, Penny; and a host of other family members.

Visitation will be Saturday, September 20, 2025, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Pocahontas with funeral services immediately following at 1 p.m. Morgan Woodard will officiate. No interment will follow.  All arrangements are under the direction of Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.
