Walnut Ridge- Linda Louise Smith, 59, passed from this life on Sunday, January 3, 2021 at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro.  She was born July 13, 1961 in Stevens Point, Wisconsin to the late Clarence and Dolores Peffer-Prondzinksi.  She was a machine operator at Custom Pak for sixteen years.  Linda was a member of United Free Will Baptist church in Walnut Ridge.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Curtis and Thelma Smith; a stepdaughter, Tracy Linebaugh; and three sisters, Audrey, Arlene, and Chris.

She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Gary Smith of the home; children, Angie Simmons (Byron) of Denton, Marcia Parker and Anthony Smith (Jennifer) both of Walnut Ridge, Ashley Parker (Robby) of Bono; step-son, Kurt Smith (Renda) of Jonesboro; brother, Duane Prondzinski of Kronzwetter, Wisconsin; sister, Joanna Taylor of Stevens Point, Wisconsin;  grandchildren, Aaron Pierce, Brittany Belles, Kaylee and Gabby Smith, Lauren, Enrique, and Alonzo Perez, Hunter Parker, Taylor Haff, Drake, Maddox, and Brooklynn Smith; great-grandchildren, Raegan Pierce, Bryson, Gracie, and Laynie Belles.

Visitation will be Thursday, January 7, 2021, from 12 until 1 p.m. at Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.  The funeral service will follow immediately at 1 p.m.  Glenn Smith and Chuck Fitzgerald will officiate.  Interment will follow in Old Military Cemetery in Sedgwick under the direction of Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Chris Parker, Byron Simmons, Robby Parker, Aaron Pierce, Hunter Parker, Enrique Perez, and Drake Smith.
