Hoxie- Loeta Sullivan Bay, 91, passed away Sunday, October 11, 2020 at Lawrence Hall Nursing Center in Walnut Ridge.  She was born December 10, 1928 in Greene County to Jake and Hazel Healey O'Connor.  She married Bobby Joe Sullivan on February 14, 1947 in Sedgwick, and they had six children together.  She was a homemaker during her early life and retired from Skill.  Loeta was of the Baptist faith.  She loved flowers, gardening, and the outdoors.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her first husband, Bobby Joe Sullivan; second husband, Edward Bay; brothers, Joe, Glenn, Frank, Benny, and Dale O'Connor; and one sister, Louise Bolar.

She is survived by daughters, Dianne Burns (Sammy) of Walnut Ridge, Alice Fry(Manuel) of Jonesboro, Stacy Ferguson (David) of Lynn, Sherri Morgan (Connelly Hatfield) of Cherokee Village; sons, Rodger Sullivan (Debbie) of Hoxie and Ricky Sullivan (Mi Young) of Cabot; sister, Joyce Gamewell of Panama City Beach, Florida; stepchildren, Kevin, Sandy, Shari, and Michael; grandchildren, Melanie Hicks, Dana Bigger, Bret Sullivan, Tricia Noel, Phillip Sullivan, Jordan Kendrick, Bobby Sullivan, Kathleen Privett, Tommie Sturch, Dillon Ferguson, Erin Weeks, Sloane Wallis, and Ashton Geurin; twenty-eight great-grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Wednesday, October 14, 2020 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Oak Hill General Baptist Church on U.S. Highway 63 in Walnut Ridge.  Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. with Thomas Lamb officiating.  Interment will follow in Lawrence Memorial Park in Walnut Ridge under the direction of Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Arkansas Children's Hospital.
