Loretta Avonne Penn French, 85, of Maumelle, formerly of Strawberry passed from this life on Wednesday, June 29, 2022, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Little Rock.  She was born January 25, 1937, in Strawberry to the late Robert Warnick and Euna Eagan Penn. She was united in marriage to Marvin French on May 3, 1959, in Walnut Ridge.  Loretta was employed as a sales and parts manager at Sears in Pine Bluff for several years. She was of the missionary Baptist belief.  Loretta loved antiques, flea markets, crystal china, silver, and a restaurant with a white tablecloth.  Besides Loretta, she also answered to sister, Gog, and Big Lo.

In addition to her parents, Loretta was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin French and son, Robert French.

She is survived by her children, Bradley French and Jana French, both of Maumelle; sister, Brenda Gregory (Don) of Bryant; grand-daughter, Ariana French, Ariana's mother, Cathy French; nephews, Justin Gregory, and Hunter Gregory.

Burial will be private under the direction of Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.
