Saffell – Louise Carolyn Davis, 101 of Saffell passed away Sunday, December 11, 2016 at Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Walnut Ridge.  She was born on August 2, 1915 in Jackson County to William Alonzo and Lucinda Ann Horton Eiland.  She was a homemaker and of the Assembly of God belief.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Johnny Sharp and Lester Davis; sons, Elbert Sharp and Albert Sharp; and several half -brothers and and half- sisters.

Survivors include sons, Dennis Sharp of Saffell and Lavelle Sharp of Harrisburg; daughter, Carolyn Huskey of Saffell; grandchildren, Tunene Weston, Tamyra Huskey, Marisa Watkins, Lanae Bookout, Marlee Sharp, Rick Sharp, Terry Sharp, Tim Sharp, and Kendall Sharp; and several great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Tuesday, December 13, 2016 from 4 pm – 6 pm at Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.  Graveside services will be December 14, 2016 at 11:30 am at Union Cemetery in Saffell.   All arrangements are under the direction of Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.
