Mancel Brooks Crossno, 91, of Cave City, formerly of Walnut Ridge passed from this life on Monday, March 18, 2024, at his residence. He was born April 2, 1932, in Clover Bend to the late Melvin Childers and Helen Florella (Huskey) Crossno. He was united in marriage to Patsy Hart on October 23, 1959, in Rockford, Illinois. He was proud to be a veteran, serving in the United States Navy on the USS Agawam AOG 6 during the Korean conflict. Brooks was a deacon at the First Free Will Baptist Church in Walnut Ridge and attended Cave City Free Will Baptist Church in his later years.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, Eugene Crossno, Darrell Crossno, and Joyce Ward; son-in-laws, Daniel Roach and Dennis Kellett.

He is survived by his wife, Patsy of the home; daughters, Marguerite "Margie" Roach of Cave City and Sandra "Sandee" Kellett of Cherokee Village; siblings, Pauline Arnold (Billy) of Paragould, Nancy Ingram (Bob) and Jerry Crossno (Linda) both of Walnut Ridge; grandchildren, Zachary Roach (Chris), Hannah St. John (Dakota), Britteny Hays (Larry), and Jonathon Kellett (Brooke); great-grandchildren, Brooks, Stella, Paxton, and Bella.

Visitation will be Thursday, March 21, 2024, from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. at Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge with funeral services immediately following at 1:30 p.m. Tim Campbell and Trent Bradley will officiate. Interment will follow in Lawrence Memorial Park in Walnut Ridge under the direction of Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.  Military honors will be rendered.

Nephews will serve as pallbearers.

Grandsons will be honorary pallbearers.
