Marcelle Hibbs went to her heavenly home on Tuesday, August 29, 2023, at Walnut Ridge Nursing and Rehab.  She was born March 11, 1931 in Lepanto, Arkansas to the late Hobert Collins and Louise Wilburn Collins. She was united in marriage to Marvin Hibbs on September 8, 1948.  She was a beautician and homemaker, and also worked at Skil Corp. as well as Walmart. Marcelle was a proud member of First Baptist Church in Walnut Ridge.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; two brothers; and grandchildren, Sommer Mullen, Autumn Mullen, and Chris Hibbs.

She is survived by her son, Roger Hibbs (Debbie) of Walnut Ridge; daughters Paula Enderwood (George) of Jonesboro, Debbie Decker (Keith) of Fort Worth, Texas; brothers, Ricky Collins of Hoxie, and Danny Collins of Springdale; sisters, Beverly Miles of Poplar Bluff, and Kathy Bartlett of Searcy; grandchildren, Matthew Hibbs, Heath Mullen, Dr. Sloane Kelley (Terry), and Shannon Tolson (Phillip); great-grandchildren, Walker Hibbs, Max Hibbs, Cameron Kelley, Barrett Kelley, John-Scott Kelley (Rebekah), Dr. Caroline Kelley, Andrew Smith, Abbey Cox, Mya Stokes, Jaxon Stokes, Lillie Mullen, and Max Mullen.

Graveside services will be Thursday, August 31, 2023, at 12:00 p.m. at Lawrence Memorial Park in Walnut Ridge. Jimmy Dunlap will officiate. All arrangements are under the direction of Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.

Family will serve as pallbearers.
