Marie Lynn Owens, 64, of Alicia, passed from this life on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at St. Bernards Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro. She was born January 10, 1960, in Holland, Michigan to the late Donald Elmo and Phillis Marie (Harbison) Bridges. She was united in marriage to Terry Owens on July 15, 1978, in Alicia. Marie was a Certified Nursing Assistant at the Arkansas Area Agencies on Aging for 25 years. She was of the Christian belief. Marie enjoyed crocheting, and sewing and had a passion for animals.  She loved her children and grandchildren dearly.

In addition to her parents, Marie was preceded in death by her brother, Joseph Elmo Bridges; and her grandson, Christopher Adams.

She is survived by her husband, Terry Owens of the home; her children, Tonya Owens of the home, Lisa Burgett (Brandon), Josh Owens (Bridgett) both of Walnut Ridge, and Aaron Owens (Tabitha) of Bradford; bonus mom, Betty Jo Bridges of Michigan; brother, Daniel Bridges (Dee Dee) of Walnut Ridge; grandchildren, Tyler Burgett (Harley), Jacob Owens, Will Owens, Ashlee Burgett, Xander Owens, Gabe Owens, Brinley Owens, Mo Adams, Emaleigh Clark, Lynzie Grady, Rebecca Gee, and Mason Gee; seven great-grandchildren; and a host of other family members and friends.

Visitation will be Friday, October 4, 2024, from 1 until 2 p.m. at Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge with funeral services immediately following at 2 p.m. Troy Owens Jr. will officiate. Interment will follow in Strangers Home Cemetery in Alicia under the direction of Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Marie's grandsons and her nephew, Jeb Bridges.

Honorary pallbearers will be Mo Adams and Christian Ramirez.
