Mary K. Crabtree, 101, of Pocahontas, formerly of Imboden, died March 6, 2014 at Randolph Home in Pocahontas. She was born January 11, 1913 in Smithville to Ludwig Herman and Ida Mae Fortenberry Kaiser. On June 30, 1935, she married William Armal Crabtree in Walnut Ridge. She was a member of the Imboden United Methodist Church for more than 65 years and worked as a Dietary Assistant at St. Vincent Hospital in Bakersfield, CA.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Armal; brother, Louis Howard Kaiser; sisters, Francis Walker Barrett, Margaret Louise Meyer, and Gladys Marie Kaiser.

Survivors include her nephews, Gary and Terry Crabtree of Bakersfield, CA; nieces, Jerry Quinn (Paul) of Strafford, MO and Barbara Haynes (Don) of Basking Ridge, NJ; sister-in-law, Dottie Crabtree of Bakersfield, CA; cousins, Maxine Mize (Homer) and Martha Durham, all of Smithville, Georgia Crabtree Sallee of Rector, and Patsy Jones (Jimmy) of Imboden; and others in the Arkansas area.

Graveside services will be Friday, March 14th at 11:00 am at Hope Cemetery in Imboden under the direction of Cox-Fears Funeral Home of Walnut Ridge with Joe Kaiser officiating.
