Mary Lou Dover, 75, of Aurora, IL, died January 25, 2014, at Season's Hospice and Palliative Care in Naperville, IL. She was born December 10, 1938 in Ravenden, to William and Viola Henson Brown. She moved to Aurora, IL in 1955 where she worked and raised her family. She loved to bowl, bowling right up to the day before she became ill.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Lewis (Slim) Dover; sister, Lucille James.

Survivors include her daughter, Kathern Thomas (Eric); grandchildren, Jennifer and William Thomas, all of Aurora, IL; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Saturday, February 1, 2014, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm in the Cox-Fears Funeral Home Chapel in Walnut Ridge. Funeral services will immediately follow visitation in Cox-Fears Chapel with Jon Fears officiating. Burial will follow in Bradford Cemetery in Ravenden.

Pallbearers are Jerry Brown, James Brown, Jason Brown, Eddie Jones, Carl Bailey, and Roger Dover. Honorary pallbearers are Ronnie Wiles and Curtis James.
