Mary Frances Pitcher, 81, of Delaplaine, passed away May 21, 2014 at Cornerstone Hospital in Jacksonville. She was born February 24, 1933 in Delaplaine to Charles Edward and Rosie Katherine Hollaway Stevens. On September 25, 1948, she married Cleo Pitcher in Delaplaine. She was a homemaker and a member of the Delaplaine church of Christ.

Preceding her in death were her husband; her parents; daughter, Lynn Katherine Pitcher; brothers, Woodrow, Bob, and Paul Stevens; sisters, Lilly Jordan and Lenora Hill.

Survivors include her children, Gig Pitcher of Delaplaine and Carmen Pitcher of Atoka, TN; sisters, Vivian Davis of Paragould, Venita Amick of Phoenix, AZ, Arzella Svaglic of St. Louis, MO, Wanda Fox of Gainesville, MO, and Imogene Rainwater of Delaplaine.

Visitation will be Thursday, May 22nd, from 6 to 8 pm at the Cox-Fears Chapel in Walnut Ridge. Funeral services will be Friday, May 23rd, at 10 am at the Cox-Fears Chapel in Walnut Ridge with Art Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Greene County Memorial Gardens in Paragould.

Pallbearers will be Anthony Pitcher, Sam Davis, Steve Davis, Rick Hale, Jake Smith, and Vondia Glen Pitcher.
