Michael Ray Rider, 55 passed away Thursday, July 25, 2018 at Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Walnut Ridge. He was born September 16, 1962 to Carl and Erma Lee Roberts Rider in Pineville, Louisiana. He married Joyce McDonald on June 28, 1998 in Walnut Ridge. He was of the Baptist belief.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Erma Lee Rider.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce Rider of the home; his father, Carl Rider; daughter, Allysa Rider of Paragould; son, Jessie Rider of Hoxie; sister, Carla Garvin (Wesley) of Pocahontas; two grandchildren; a niece, Magan Garvin and nephew, Garrett Garvin.

Honored to serve as pallbears include Garrett Garvin, Ronnie Helms, Tommy Milgrim, Tim Hudson, John Mashburn, Lynn Morris, Sammy Webb, and Marlin Roberts.
