Mildred Ann King, 88, of Delaplaine, passed from this life on Friday, May 8, 2026, at her residence. She was born on October 15, 1937, in Delaplaine, to the late John Edgar and Addie Kay (Blackwood) Flanery. She was a homemaker and was of the Christian belief. Mildred was a devoted mother and grandmother who worked hard and always had a smile on her face. Easter was her favorite holiday, and she loved hosting her family at her home each year to celebrate together.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sons, David King and Jeff King; brothers, John Donald Flanery and Tom Flanery; sister, Lodema Jordan; granddaughter, Sarah King; and great-granddaughter, Thunder Finney.

She is survived by her sons, Gary King, Danny King, Jay King (Mary) all of Delaplaine, Dale King (Allison) of Jonesboro, Troy King of Walnut Ridge, Jannie Gray (Wayne) of Ozark Acres, and Teresa Haff (Eddie) of Brookland; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Thursday, May 14, 2026, from 5 P.M to 7 P.M in the Cox Funeral Home Chapel in Walnut Ridge. Funeral services will be Friday, May 15, 2026, at 10 A.M. in the Cox Funeral Home Chapel in Walnut Ridge. Jimmy Dunlap will officiate. Interment will follow in the Jones Ridge Cemetery in Delaplaine under the direction of Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.
