Walnut Ridge- Minerva E. Bounds, 72, of Walnut Ridge, passed away Sunday, February 3, 2019 at St. Bernard's Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro. She was born on June 9, 1946 to William Luther Tribble, Sr. and Mary Josephine Ponder Tribble in Pocahontas.  On January 5, 1966 she married Thomas Patton Bounds in Walnut Ridge.  Minerva retired from Riceland Foods and was of the Baptist belief. Minerva loved her senior citizens group

Preceding her in death were her husband; her parents; a son, Thomas Patton Bounds, Jr.; brothers, Raymon Tribble and Glendon Tribble; a sister, Lovis West Barber.

Survivors include a son, Rick Bounds (Teresa) of Lead Hill; a daughter, Tracy Darnell Bounds of Walnut Ridge; brothers, Luther Tribble (Patricia) of Bono, Kerry Tribble (Paula) of Walnut Ridge; Bill Tribble (Kim) of Jonesboro and Shelby Tribble (Laura) of Bono; sisters, Kathyrn Mitchell (Shelby) of Jonesboro, Faye Norris (Carlton) of Paragould, Doris Conrey (Lehman) of Sedgwick, Evelyn Henry (Jim) of Austin, Texas, Jane Bales (Steve) of Jonesboro and Carolyn Tribble of Jonesboro; grandchildren, Cheyenna and Savannah Bounds, Kalyn Campbell (Cody), April, Bud and Alex Bounds; great grandchildren Jon Michael, Brianna, Mercedes, Zaythren, T.J., Ayrabella, Zayn and Alzetta.

Visitation will be Tuesday, February 5, 2019 from 10 until 12 in Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.  Graveside service will follow in Trinity Cemtery near Bono at 1 p.m.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Paul Tribble, Greg Conrey, Steve Conrey, Bill Brown, Bud Bounds and Alex Bounds.
