Walnut Ridge - Mona Lou Adkisson, 71 of Walnut Ridge passed away Monday, November 16, 2015 at Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro. She was born on August 19, 1944 to Willard Lee and Georgia Kincade Huskey. She married Kenneth Adkisson on October 14, 1961. She was a machinist, and a member of Arbor Grove Free Will Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her father, Willard Huskey.

Survivors include: her husband of fifty four years, Kenneth Adkisson of the home; son, Loye Adkisson of Walnut Ridge; mother, Georgia Kincade Huskey of Walnut Ridge; sister, Frances Forrester of Cherokee Village; brother, Willie Joe Huskey of Hoxie; grandchildren, Pasha (Brett) Ausley, Ashley Boutzale, and two great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 6 pm - 8 pm at Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge with David Ponder officiating with private burial to follow.
