Nadine Whitlow Stewart-Pierce, 75, of Littlefield, TX, formerly of Black Rock, died Friday, August 16, 2013 at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, TX. She was born September 8, 1937 in Strawberry to Garland and Bertha Dunlap Whitlow. On October 3, 1955, she married Lloyd Stewart in Hernando, MS. On April 8, 1998, she married Burton Pierce in Walnut Ridge. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Walnut Ridge for many years. Upon moving to TX, she transferred her membership to Sunset Ave Baptist Church in Littlefield. She was a former manager of Dairy Queen in Walnut Ridge.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Lloyd Stewart; brother, Earl Whitlow; sisters, Louise Fears, Mozelle Dulaney, and Aleta Wade; step-daughter, Liz Polk; daughter-in-law, Telisa Stewart.

Survivors include her husband, Burton Pierce of the home; sons, Scott Stewart (Sherrie) of Jonesboro and Terry Stewart of Burgin, KY; step-sons, Junior Pierce of Gladewater, TX, Garland Pierce of Jacksonville, TX; step-daughter, Billie Green of Levelland, TX; brothers, Gene and Billy Whitlow both of Black Rock; grandchildren, Braden, Peyton, and Mylee Stewart, Jennifer Harris, Lisa Brown, Michael Stewart, Rebecca East, Karen Stewart, Krissy Eggleston, Renee Sims, Jamie, Joey, Allen, and Sam Polk, Ashley Vurgio, Amy Green, Shane, Curt, Crystal, and Matthew Pierce; several great-grandchildren; many other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Tuesday, August 20, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm in the Cox-Fears Chapel in Walnut Ridge. Graveside services will be Wednesday, August 21, at 11:00 am at Oak Forest Cemetery in Black Rock under the direction of Cox-Fears Funeral Home; Shawn Brandon officiating.
