Nancy Lou Davis, 67, of Portia passed from this life on June 9, 2023 at St. Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro. She was born August 8, 1955 to the late Lee Roy and Betty Jane (Riley) Davis in Walnut Ridge. She was employed as an office administrative assistant for the Department of Human Services. She was of the Baptist belief. Nancy enjoyed baking.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Nancy is survived by brothers, Wendel (Ann) Davis of Searcy; Tim Davis and Joe Davis, both of Portia; and one sister, Joan Davis of the home. One nephew, Matthew (Carrie) Davis of Little Rock; three nieces, Tisha (Josh) Pickens of Searcy, Amber Davis of Bono, and Logan Davis of Searcy; great nieces and nephews, Danielle, Goldie, Gavin, and Hart.

Visitation will be Monday, June 12, 2023 from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. with funeral services to follow at 2 p.m. at Cox Funeral Home with Roger Brand officiating. Interment will follow in Lawrence Memorial Park Cemetery in Walnut Ridge under the direction of Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are James Wilson, Nathan Taylor, Dalton Cagle, Eugene Jackson, Frankie Jackson, and Geno Jackson.
