Nancy Suzanne Mitchell, 73, of Pocahontas, entered her heavenly home on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. She was born May 12, 1951, in St. Louis, Missouri, to the late Charles William and Helvetia (Anthony) Nolen. She was united in marriage to Darrell Mitchell on May 27, 1994, in Pocahontas. Nancy owned and operated the family farm with Darrell for many years. She was of strong Christian faith. She loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren dearly.

In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by siblings Richard Nolen, Ronald Nolen, Steven Nolen, Berta Powers, Dana Nolen, and great-grandchildren Wyatt Hardin and Justin Lee.

She is survived by her husband, Darrell Mitchell of the home; children, Angela Briggs (John) of Pocahontas, Sheri Allen of Black Rock, Jason Allen (Jonelle) and Stephen Allen both of Arizona, and Aaron Allen (Milena) of California; siblings, Charles Nolen Jr. (Carolyn), Cheryl Patrick, and Jeri McAllister all of Illinois and Kevin Nolen (Lori) of Missouri; thirteen grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and her special pet, Suzie.

Graveside services will be held Friday, February 14, 2025, at 11 a.m., in Gravesville Cemetery in Pocahontas. Matthew Kerley will officiate. All arrangements are under the direction of Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.
