Nancy Wheeless, 59, passed away Sunday, September 17, 2017 at St. Bernard's Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro. She was born June 17, 1958 in Walnut Ridge to Charles and Onida Ruth Richey Ellison. She was an assembler at Monroe and a member of Portia church of Christ.

She is preceded in death by an infant brother, Michael Ellison.

She is survived by her parents, Charles and Onida Ellison of Powhatan; son, Jason Gaines (Whitney) of Paragould; sister, Linda Kurc of Hoxie; and a granddaughter, Taylor Gaines.

Visitation will be Thursday, September 21, 2017 from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. at Cox Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral will be Friday, September 22, 2017 at 11 a.m. with Robert Davis and Seth Parnell officiating. Burial will follow at Old Lebanon Cemetery in Lynn, Arkansas. All arrangements are under the direction of Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.

Pallbearers will be Jerry Wayne, Shawn, Mart, Danny, John, Trevor and Walker Morgan and Eric Pratt.
