Opal Marie Lester, 88, of Imboden, died February 28, 2014, at her residence. She was born April 22, 1925 in Williford to Coleman and Jessie Lee Bayers Morgan.

Preceding her in death were her parents; sons, Thorton Eugene and Johnny Lavain Lester; two brothers; four sisters; and seven grandchildren.

Survivors include her sons, Leon Lester of IN, Bill Lester and Bobby Lester both of FL, James Lester and George Lester both of AR; daughters Rayetta Carroll of IN and Debbie Kirkpatrick of MO; thirty-two grandchildren; sixty-seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Thursday, March 6, 2014 from 5:00 to 7:00pm in the Cox-Fears Chapel in Walnut Ridge. Funeral services will be Friday, March 7,2014 at 11:00am in the Cox-Fears Chapel in Walnut Ridge with Max Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Bradford Cemetery in Ravenden.

Pallbearers are Dale Brady, Charlie Lester, James Lester, Eugene Lester, Jesse Rohrer, Gregory Williams, and David Lester.
