Portia-Patsy G. Clark, 83 passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at St. Bernards Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro. She was born September 10, 1935 to Bryson Ernest and Tola Mae Mcllory Waddell in Switzer, South Carolina.

She was married to Victor Clark, the love of her life, on June 25, 1955. She worked for Portia City Water Works for several years before being employed by The Lawrence County Exceptional Childrens School in Portia.  She retired at the age of 70 after working 32 years.  She was a long time member of the Portia Church of Christ and spent many years in service to the Black Rock Order of the Eastern Star.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years and her parents.

She is survived by a son, Vic Clark, Jr. (Judy) of Walnut Ridge; daughters, Patricia Tribble (Luther) and Mary Clark both of Bono, and Vickie Mitchell (Merle) of Walnut Ridge; 15 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandsons

Visitation will be Friday, January 25, 2019 from 6 until 8 p.m. at Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge. The funeral will be Saturday, January 26, 2019 at 10 a.m. at Portia Church of Christ with Seth Parnell and Robert Davis officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Forest Cemetery at Black Rock under the direction of Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.

Honored to serve as pallbearers will be her grandsons, Derek Riddle, Trey Tribble, Dylan Tribble, Jagger Clark, Drake Smith, and Gavin Baugh.
