Walnut Ridge – Paul Fern Hembrey, 86, of Walnut Ridge, passed away Friday, March 3, 2017 at St. Bernard's Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro. He was born on July 26, 1930 to Charles William and Ethel Hembrey in Lawrence County. He was a retired custodian and of the Baptist belief.

He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers; Rupert, Oba, Richard and Fred Hembrey; three sisters, Daisy Todd, Irby Deal and Sunshine Freer.

Survivors include several nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation is Monday, March 6, 2017 from 10 – 11 am with funeral service immediately following at 11 am at Cox Funeral Home Chapel in Walnut Ridge. Burial will be in Strangers Home  Cemetery. All arrangements are under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Walnut Ridge.
