Waterloo, IL – Paul Vern Milligan, 81 of Waterloo, Illinois passed away Sunday, April 10, 2016 in Waterloo. He was born on August 13, 1934 in Sharp County, Arkansas to Paul and Cora McGinnis Milligan. He was a maintenance technician at United Technology in St. Louis for forty years. He was a Shriner and served in the US Navy.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Lavelle Milligan; a sister, Bernice Wildrick; and an infant daughter.

Survivors include: son, Steven Milligan of Freeburg, Illinois; daughter, Karen Kirby of Belleville, Illinois; sisters, Christine Bagley of Walnut Ridge, Wanda McCormic and Joan Wallis of Hoxie, Joyce Ward of Somerville, North Carolina; and three grandchildren.

Visitation will be Wednesday, April 13, 2016 from 10 am – 11 am at Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge. Graveside services follow at 12 Noon at Milligan Campground Cemetery near Strawberry. All arrangements are under the direction of Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.
