Paul Edward Wilson, 70, of Hoxie passed from this life on Saturday, October 2, 2021, at Flo and Phil Hospice House in Jonesboro.  He was born November 26, 1950 to the late Virgil Sr. and Louise Britt Wilson.  He was united in marriage to Bonnie Starkey on November 28, 1981.  Paul farmed during his lifetime and was a member of the Apostolic Church in Alicia.

In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his daughter, Tammy Wilson and brother, Virgil Wilson.

He is survived by his wife, Bonnie of the home; children, Johnathan Wilson (Stephanie), Timothy Wilson (Tabitha) both of Alicia, Debbie Wilson of Jonesboro, Tabitha Wilson (JJ) of Strangers Home, Ricky Wilson (Bell) of Swifton, Charles Wilson of Walnut Ridge and Shelly Beasley (Sheree) of Paragould; siblings, Wilda Armstrong of Jonesboro, Wilma Chastain of Hoxie, Patrick Wilson and Mary Baker both of Swifton, Marilyn Green of Walnut Ridge, Tommy Wilson and Danny Kay Wilson of Bono, and Jimmy Wilson of Jonesboro; 21 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Charles Wilson, Jr., David Wilson, Anthony Willfond, Daniel Wilson Logan Pickle and Robert Cook.

Honorary pallbearers are Jacob Armstrong and Timmy Wilson.

Visitation will be Wednesday, October 6, 2021 from 12 until 2 p.m. at Grace Apostolic Church in Alicia with funeral following immediately at 2 p.m.  Bro. Brewer will officiate.  Interment will follow in Strangers Home Cemetery near Alicia under the direction of Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.
