Paula Ann Durbin, 56, of Pocahontas, passed from this life on Sunday, April 13, 2025, at her residence. She was born August 12, 1968, in Pocahontas, to the late Calvin and Ruth (Sanders) Smart. She was united in marriage to Robert Durbin, Jr. on December 18, 1992, in Pocahontas. Paula was employed as a laundry aide at Randolph County Nursing Home in Pocahontas and was a member of the United Free Will Baptist Church in Walnut Ridge. She loved her family and treasured her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and father-in-law, Robert Durbin, Sr.

She is survived by her husband Robert of the home, children Robert Durbin III of Pocahontas, Angela Smith (David) of Biggers; siblings, Eddie Smart of Missouri (Elizabeth), and Tina Smith (Mike) of Russellville; grandchildren, Lacea Morris, Isaiah Morris, Tobey Morris, D.J. Smith, Chantelle Niswonger, and Johnathan Smith; great-grandchildren, Oakley Dean, E.J. Smith, Donnie Smith, Chastity, Chryssa, Kaylee, McKenzie, Jeremiah, Talia, and Destiny; and a host of other family members and friends.

Visitation will be Saturday, April 19, 2025, from 10 a.m. - 11 a.m. at United Free Will Baptist Church in Walnut Ridge. Memorial service will immediately follow at 11 a.m. with D.J. Smith officiating.
