Pocahontas - Pearl Maxine Gray, age 90 of Pocahontas, died Sunday, September 27, 2015 at Walnut Ridge Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Walnut Ridge. She was born on May 11, 1925 to William and Ruby Adams Neal. She married John Gray on July 7, 1943 in Sedgwick. She was employed by Oak Ridge Central for ten years, Pocahontas Nursing and Rehab Center for ten years, and was a homemaker. She was a member of Cache River Pentecostal Church.

Preceding her in death are her parents; husband, John; sons, Hubert Nelson Gray and John Donald Gray; daughter, Debra Moltz; brothers, Leo Lavern Neal and Cleo Wesley Neal; sister, Lorene Jewel Healey, and grandson Buddy Lloyd Gray.

Survivors include: sons, Lloyd Gray and Randy Gray of Pocahontas, and James Gray of McDonough, Georgia; daughters, Judy Chaippelli of Hoxie, Rhonda Cherry of Pocahontas, and Tammy Tribble of Maynard; sisters, Jessie Ruth Britton of Sedgwick, Jeanette Littlechild and Carolyn Stealer of Missouri, and Julie Miller of Brookland; nineteen grandchildren, and several great grandchildren.

Visitation for Mrs. Gray will be Tuesday from 6-8 pm at Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge. Funeral service will be Wednesday at 10 am in Cox Funeral Home Chapel in Walnut Ridge with Calvin Botard and Rick Hart officiating. Burial will follow at Old Military Cemetery near Sedgwick under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Walnut Ridge.
